Childcare cleaning in Sawtell built around compliance, not guesswork
Seven-thirty in the morning and a parent is walking through your door with a toddler. The floor your children will sit and play on all day was cleaned last night. You need to know it was done properly — not hope for it.
Pacific Breeze Cleaners provides nightly childcare centre cleaning across Sawtell and the Coffs Harbour region. Every clean follows an app-guided checklist built for childcare settings: the tasks are defined before the cleaner walks in, checked off as they are completed, and recorded in a report you can read the next morning. That is not a promise about quality — it is a record of it.
What the service covers
A childcare centre has surfaces most commercial cleans ignore — nappy-change areas, sleep rooms, food preparation benches, bathroom fittings that small hands touch dozens of times a day. Our scope is built around those realities, not a generic office checklist.
Nightly HOCl disinfection of all high-touch surfaces, food surfaces, bathrooms and nappy-change areas — every clean, not on request
Full colour-coded cloth system with a strict cross-contamination program every cleaner must follow
Single-use toilet technique: a cloth that contacts a toilet never touches another surface — ever
Nilfisk GD5 HEPA-filter vacuums — upgraded for National Quality Framework 2025–26 compliance, because air quality matters where children play on the floor
A more hygienic floor process than traditional cleaning businesses — that is as much as we will say publicly, because how we do it is the point of difference
Every task checked off and logged; a full report waiting in your client portal the next morning
The disinfectant that goes with you: 15 L of HOCl every month
The disinfectant at the centre of our childcare work is hypochlorous acid — HOCl. It is the same category of disinfectant used in hospitals, doctors' offices and dental clinics. We make it in-house from salt, water and electricity. It is effective against pathogens and safe around children and food surfaces.
Centres on daily (five-day) cleaning receive 15 litres of HOCl every month at no extra charge — renewed each month, delivered into a container at the centre (we can supply one, or you use your own). Your educators can use it during the day on food tables, mouthed toys and anything that needs a quick turnaround between the nightly clean and a busy group session. No separate product to source, no guessing about what is safe for children.
This is a perk of daily service. If you are not yet on a daily schedule and want to talk through whether it makes sense for your centre, that conversation starts with a quote.
Compliance documentation you can actually use
Regulatory visits and parent questions are not hypothetical. When an assessor asks how cleaning is documented, the right answer is a client portal with a time-stamped record of every task completed on every visit — not a verbal assurance or a paper sign-off sheet.
Every Pacific Breeze client has access to a portal that holds their full cleaning scope, every clean report, and a log of any issues raised and resolved. A missed task — reported via the portal with photos and a rating if you like — is added to the site's permanent checklist immediately, so it cannot be missed again. The system only improves over time.
We upgraded our equipment specifically to support National Quality Framework 2025–26 requirements. We are not saying we certify your compliance — that is your team's job — but the records and methods we provide are built to support it.
Child-safe products across every clean
Our standard cleaning products for maintenance cleans are eco-friendly. Where a deep clean calls for stronger chemicals on hard-to-clean areas, we use them — and a Safety Data Sheet is available for every product we use on site. Nothing comes into your centre without documentation behind it.
Who cleans your centre — and what happens if someone is sick
Our cleaners are police-checked before they work with us and go through structured training and ongoing assessment. The clean is guided by a checklist, so the standard does not depend on which cleaner turns up or how their week is going.
If a cleaner is unwell, we have vetted backup cover — the clean still happens. For a childcare centre, a missed clean is not an inconvenience; it is a compliance and safety problem. We are built around that reality.
Keys are held under a secure, coded, anonymised system. Each cleaner can only access the keys for their own sites. You can hand us access and not think about it again.
Quotes: transparent hours, no surprises
We quote on measured hours — every surface and task timed by cleaner experience level — so you can see exactly what you are paying for. All quotes are GST-inclusive with no hidden extras. You can request a walk-through of the centre, or use our online scope tool to send through photos and room details and receive a quote without an on-site visit. Either way, a quote comes back within 48 hours, often the same day.
You can start without a lock-in contract at the standard rate, or move to a contract for a better rate. Many clients start contract-free and shift across once they have seen the standard in practice.
